If you booked your flight before receiving your passport, make sure to add your passport info to your flight.
You must get a special DR eTicket prior to arriving at the airline counter by completing the form HERE. It is only necessary to create one eTicket per couple/family. You will need passport info, flight numbers, and flight confirmation numbers for both of your flights.
Have your return flight information available to show prior to boarding your flight to the DR.

$1s and $5s for tipping. It can be difficult to get change for larger bills. Dollars are preferred over Pesos.
Bug spray & high-SPF sunscreen. The UV index goes between very high (8) and extreme (13) from 10AM-4PM every day. Bottles over 3.4oz need to be packed into a checked bag.
Insulated tumbler if you’d like one for the beach & pool. Bartenders are glad to fill them.
Plastic or reusable straws if you don’t like paper.
Wedding attire: Guys, no jackets or ties needed. Chinos/slacks and button-up shirt will do! Gals, no white please.
Restaurant dress code: There are 3 dress code levels based on the venue and time of day. The mobile app has the details on each restaurant page.
- Casual for Breakfast/Lunch: Shorts, bermudas, sarongs, and t-shirts are welcome. Gentlemen no sleeveless t-shirts. No tank tops, wet clothes, or swimsuits. Footwear must be worn at all times.
- Regular Casual: Ladies long/capri pants, skirt with blouse/dress. Gentlemen long pants, dress shorts, collared shirt or t-shirt. Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn. No sleeveless t-shirts, tank tops, shorts, beach sandals, or flip flops.
- Casual Elegance: Ladies long/capri pants, skirt with blouse/dress. Gentlemen long dress pants, collared/polo short. Closed shoes or elegant sandals must be worn. No t-shirts, tank tops, shorts, beach sandals, flip flops.

Tap Water: Don’t drink or brush teeth from the tap. Use bottled water.
Time Zone: Currently the same as Eastern Time. Sunrise @ 6. Sunset @ 7.
Restuarant Reservations: To have the most options, try to make all of your reservations shortly after checking into your room.
Tipping: Giving a tip beforehand can get you better service and drinks than tipping afterward.
AC: If it’s not cold enough, ask for a dehumidifier. It’ll be brought to your room.
Casino: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is 30 minutes away. It has slots & table games. No day pass needed. The Concierge can arrange a ride (ext 6040).

Chairs: Try to be on the sand by 9AM if you want one.
Cabana rentals (Club guests only): $60 per day. Reserve at the beach concierge on your first day, and they will set you up each day after that with a daybed and towels. You can order food and drinks to your cabana.
Ocean Conditions: If the ocean gets rough, try walking along the shore in either direction to where it’s calmer.
Vendors: Ignore them or pay up 💲
